PhalanxJet™ Technology,
Superior Precision Printing with Zero Contamination
|
Phalanx
used the most advanced inkjet technology available in the design of
PhalanxJet, thus the system is able to deliver uniform spots onto
pre-treated glass slide in a highly reproducible manner. PhalanxJet
is designed specifically to minimize the chance of
cross-contamination between probes. Each PhalanxJet has 200
reservoirs to hold 200 different probes, and it is able to dispense
each probe from its own reservoir without mixing with other probes.

PhalanxArray™ Technology,
Ultra High-Throughput Printing
|
PhalanxArray Technology pushes the envelope of microarray printing
system with its unprecedented production volume and capacity.
PhalanxArray is capable of hosting 200 perfectly aligned
PhalanxJets and printing 40,000 uniform spots per slide. Our soon
to be operational high capacity foundry is capable of printing up
to 1,000,000 high-density slides per year, a speed and volume that
is 100 times better than the most advanced arraying process to
date.

PhalanxSlide™ Technology,
Patented Advance Permeable 3D Surface Chemistry
|
PhalanxSlide Technology is based on a unique hydrophobic surface
chemistry that utilizes highly active 2D/3D functional groups that
react rapidly with polynucleotide probes to form stable linkages.
This surface chemistry allows us to print slides with high probe
binding capacity, low background noise, and excellent uniformity of
spots. Phalanx also uses the same proven manufacturing processes
used in the production of compact discs to manufacture the slides,
thus providing consistent surface coating on each slide. |

Phalanx Total Quality
Assurance Manufacturing
|
Quality
is Phalanx' top priority, thus we have developed a manufacturing
quality assurance system that is unmatched in the industry. Our
innovative quality assurance process assures the homogeneity and
the identity of each polynucleotide probe printed, and enables
optical inspection and rejection of defective slides with missing
spots or imprecise alignment.
